Former England manager Steve McClaren's become the first Englishman to win a major European title in 14 years, after his FC Twente clinched their first Dutch football championship.
A 2-0 win over 10-man NAC Breda on the final day of the season was enough for FC Twente, who only lost twice all season.
McLaren resigned as England manager after the team failed to qualify for Euro 2008.
