World No.3 Rafael Nadal survived a three-set thriller against unseeded Ernests Gulbis on Sunday to reach the final of the ATP Rome Masters tennis tournament.
The 6-4 3-6 6-4 victory ensured it will be an all-Spanish affair in Monday's final after 13th seed David Ferrer beat compatriot and sixth seed Fernando Verdasco 7-5 6-3 in the first semi-final.
