Organisers of this weekend's New Zealand round of the Australian V8 Supercars championship say fans might miss out on a grandstand seat in Hamilton if they rely on walk-up traffic
Although there'veen reports for slow sales they say there's been an upsurge over the past fortnight and although they've added additional grandstand seating, there are now fewer than 3000 seats left.
Event Director Stephen Vuleta says general admission will be definitely available but the new flexipass grandstand seats have sold out.
The first of two airfreight consignments of the race cars arrived in Hamilton yesterday and the rest
arrived today, with most of the drivers having arrived already.
