The Chiefs loose forward Jarrad Hoeata will miss the next two rounds of rugby's Super 14 after being suspended for striking Bulls lock Flip van der Merwe in Friday night's home loss in Hamilton.
Hoeata will miss the games against two more the South African sides, the Stormers and the Cheetahs.
He appeared before the SANZAR Judicial Officer Peter Hobbs in Wellington yesterday and admitted punching van der Merwe in an immediate reaction to an earlier incident on the field.
