Corney Swanepoel has missed out on qualification for New Zealand's Commonwealth Games swim team despite winning the 50 metre butterfly on the final night of the national championships in Auckland.
Swanepoel was just outside the target time in his last chance to make the Games in Delhi.
Glenn Snyders won the 50 metre breaststroke to qualify in a second event, as did Lauren Boyle, who swam a personal best to win the 400 metre freestyle.
Seven swimmers went under the qualifying mark for the Commonwealth Games in 11 swims this week.
Andrew McMillan repeated last year's narrow victory over rival Michael Jack in the 200 metre freestyle, Charlotte Webby won the 200 metre butterfly and Dylan Dunlop-Barrett won the men's 1500 metre freestyle.
