The New Zealand women's hockey team has upset the world's second ranked team Argentina 3-1 in Hamilton in the first of three tests.
The younger less experienced New Zealand side trailed at half-time after Argentina scored from a penalty corner.
However, the second half belonged tothe ninth-ranked New Zealanders with Clarissa Eshuis scoring from a drag flick after four minutes and Piki Hamahona scoring a field goal from an acute angle seven minutes later.
