Tietjens wants an elusive win in Adelaide

The New Zealand rugby sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has achieved most things in the game - but winning in Adelaide has so far eluded him.

He's collected eight of the 10 World Series titles, a World Cup and all three Commonwealth Games gold medals, however Tietjens has never won the Adelaide title.

The New Zealanders lead the standings after four tournaments, with two wins and a second as well as being beaten in a semi-final.

Tietjens says a win in South Australia is something he'd like to tick off.

New Zealand have been beaten by Samoa in the last 2 tournaments.

New Zealand beat Scotland 31-0 on Friday night to open their Adelaide campaign. They face Argentina and Tonga today in what is now a three-day tournament in Adelaide.
