The Olympic bronze medallist Eliza McCartney has finished a disappointing eighth and last in the pole vault competition at the Diamond League athletics meeting in Oslo.
The 20-year-old entered the competition at 4.55m but was unable to clear the bar at any of her three attempts.
McCartney failure to clear the height was suprising as she has a personal best of 4.82 metres and at last week's Diamond League meeting in Rome cleared 4.75 metres.
McCartney's coach Jeremy McColl called it a "little bad day".
"There were really shifty winds making it tough out there today. It was a good learning experience for Eliza", said McColl.
"She's excited for the Stockholm Diamond League in three days", McColl added.
The competition was won by Yarisley Silva from Cuba, the 2016 World Champion, clearing 4.81m
Anzhelika Sidirova from Russia finished second, clearing 4.75m while German Lisa Ryzih was over 4.65 for third.
Silva has moved up to first in the Diamond League standings on 21 points, ahead of Stefanidi from Greece who bypassed Olso, on 16.
McCartney sits in seventh place on six points .
