The Warriors centre Brent Tait says they're putting no expectations on themselves heading into the new National Rugby League season.
Tait returns to the side to take on Gold Coast in Robina on Sunday, his 2009 season ended after just three rounds when he suffered a major knee injury.
The Warriors went on to finish 14th last season.
Tait says personally he's just making small steps back to form, and with some commentators saying the Warriors could challenge for the wooden spoon this year, he says they're not thinking any further ahead than the Gold Coast game.
