Hawke's Bay United has kept its slim NZ Football Championship play-off hopes alive thanks to a 2-1 win over high-flyers Canterbury United at Park Island.
Andrew Abba opened the scoring when he volleyed home a Stuart Ferguson flick on after 17 minutes, and Leon Birnie got the second.
Russell Kamo scored for Canterbury.
To make play-offs, Hawkes Bay need to win their last regular season match against Auckland FC and have other results go their way.
Canterbury, meanwhile, face a nervous final two games against fellow play-off rivals Team Wellington and Auckland City.
Canterbury could still lose both games and qualify for the play-offs but only if both Otago and Team Wellington loses their final matches too.
