Muliaina and Sivivatu back for Chiefs

7:06 pm on 3 March 2010

The unbeaten Chiefs play their first home game of the Super 14 rugby season on Friday night when they host the Queensland Reds at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.

As planned, the captain Mils Muliaina returns to fullback after being rested for the first three games while Sitiveni Sivivatu returns to the left wing, having recovered from the shoulder injury he suffered two weeks ago.

Coach Ian Foster says there were some hard decisions to make, given the squad's performances in South Africa and West Australia but they want to get the two All Blacks involved as soon as possible.

The forward pack is unchanged and the squad is: Sona Taumalolo, Hika Elliot, Nathan White,

Romana Graham, Culum Retallick, Liam Messam, Tanerau Latimer, Colin Bourke; Brendon Leonard, Stephen Donald, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Callum Bruce. Richard Kahui. Lelia Masaga, Mils Muliaina. Reserves: Aled de Malmanche, Toby Smith, Jarrad Hoeata, Luke Braid , Junior Poluleuligaga, Mike Delany, Dwayne Sweeney.
