The Auckland Stars have been suspended from the 2010 National Basketball League due to financial reasons.
The NBL Board says the purpose of the suspension is to enable the Stars to regroup and re-enter the League in the 2011 season as a strong participant.
The NBL season is set to begin on March 4th.
