The Chiefs have started their Super 14 rugby season in dramatic winning fashion with a 19-18 victory over South Africa's Sharks at a rain-drenched Kings Park Stadium in Durban.
It was 6-6 at half-time and the Sharks led 15-9 late in the game before Chiefs second-five Jackson Willison scored the only try.
His No.10 Stephen Donald then converted for a one-point lead but the Sharks edged back in front by two with a penalty.
However, Sharks centre Andries Strauss was penalised for being offside right in front of his posts from the kick-off to give Donald his opportunity to win the match.
