New Zealand Olympian Glenn Snyders has picked up a second medal at the New South Wales swimming championships in Sydney.
Snyders finished third in the 100 metres breaststroke after second place in the 50 metres as he continues his comeback from surgery to repair a long-standing knee injury.
His time of 1:03.09 showed Snyders is on track for April's Commonwealth Games trials.
North Shore's Emily Thomas was the other medallist on the second day of competition at Sydney's Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, finishing third in the 100 backstroke in an excellent 1:01.66, which is only 3/10ths of a second outside the qualifying time for the Commonwealth Games.
New Zealand swimmers won three medals on the opening night of finals.
