The NBA All-Stars Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are among nine members of the gold-medal winning 2008 United States basketball team named for the program for the next two years.
Fellow 2008 Olympic gold medallists Carmelo Anthony Carlos Boozer , Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Deron Williams join Bryant and James in the 27-member pool.
Players will be eligible to play in August's world championships and the 2012 London Olympic Games, assuming the Americans qualify.
