They may still be considered minnows, but the Bangladesh cricket coach Jamie Siddons feels the country has now produced some players of truly international quality.
Bangladesh open their short tour of New Zealand with a Twenty20 international in Hamilton tomorrow night.
They were completely outplayed in their last tour here 2 years ago and while they may have lost every match in their recent home series against India, Siddons says he's excited about his young side's form.
He says the side now contains a couple of players who could be considered match winners.
