There's another gold medal on the line for New Zealand tonight, with the men's sprint team facing Germany again in the final.

Ethan Mitchell, Sam Webster and Eddie Dawkins were narrowly pipped in the heats on the opening night but were just a quarter of a second off the Germans in qualifying.

Webster's also won his Kierin heat to reach the next round. Fellow national rep Simon van Velthooven was knocked out in his Kierin repechage.
