The New Zealand Olympic Committee has named ten athletes to compete at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next month, with the snowboard team still to be announced.
The ten athletes span five sports, with Sarah Murphy selected as New Zealand's first Olympic biathlete, pending confirmation of a quota spot from the International Federation.
Also included in the squad is 30-year-old skeleton racer Ben Sandford who placed 10th at the 2006 Torino Games.
The athletes are currently based in the Northern Hemisphere and will come into one of two Olympic Villages situated in Whistler and Vancouver ahead of the Opening Ceremony on February the 12th.
