Isner says he wasn't ready for his first final but is now

The American tennis player John Isner says he's much better prepared for this afternoon's final of the Heineken Open than he was when he reached his first final on the ATP world tour in Washington.

Isner's playing the veteran Frenchman Arnaud Clement, who hasn't won a tournament in four years and was a late entry for Auckland.

Clement's a former top 10 player and his experience showed when he ousted the 2008 champion Philipp Kohlschreiber in the second semi-final.

Isner says Clement's experience isn't as big an obstacle now though.
