The New Zealand netball team is in the Gold Coast in Australia for the next 10 days for a training camp as it prepares for the defence of its Commonwealth Games title in Delhi in October.
Coach Ruth Aitken says the camp isn't an acclimatisation exercise but rather a chance to monitor how each player adjusts to playing in the heat.
The only Silver Fern to miss the camp is defender Sheryl Scanlan, who has a calf injury.
