The Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao says he is ready to move on and now plans to take a WBO welterweight title fight against Joshua Clottey in March instead of facing Floyd Mayweather.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum has told Sports Illustrated that after six weeks of failed negotiations Mayweather is no longer on Pacquiao's radar and he now has a tentative agreement to fight Clottey.
But Mayweather's camp isn't ready to throw in the towel.
Golden Boy Promotions chief executive Richard Schaefer has said he still feels one of the richest fights in boxing history can be saved.
