The defending national fours bowls champions, headed by veteran Peter Bellis have failed to reach the finals of this year's tournament in Lower Hutt.
Bellis, Kevin Robinson, Steve Posa and Justin Goodwin lost to Blake Signal's four, skipped by Alvin Gardiner and including Robbie Bennett and Clint Carol, 21-17.
Signal's quartet will play Gary Ruane's four in the final tomorrow.
Ruane's four narrowly beat the Pat Horgan skipped team, 20-19.
In the women's final Barbara McGregor's four will play Gale Fache.
