Veteran boxer Evander Holyfield will challenge South African Francois Botha for the lightly regarded WBF world heavyweight title in Uganda on January 16.
Holyfield hasn't fought since losing a points decision to Nikolai Valuev in a WBA title fight in December 2008, but the 47-year-old American believes a victory could give him a shot at a more prestigious title.
Holyfield, a former world cruiserweight and heavyweight champion, has a 47-10 win-loss record, with two draws.
Botha is 47-4 with three draws and has lost to former world champions Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Wladimir Klitschko and Michael Moorer.
Organisers for the fight at Kampala's Nambole Stadium say both boxers have signed contracts and predicted a crowd of 80,000 fans.
