Blues make backline changes for Chiefs clash

The Blues coach Sir John Kirwan has reshuffled his backline for Saturday's Super Rugby clash with the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Halfback Jamison Gibson-Park gets his first start of the season with Jimmy Cowan on the bench.

Second-five Francis Saili is dropped to the bench, with George Moala moving in one spot to 12, while Pita Ahki starts at 13.

Tevita Li returns to the left wing in place of Melani Nanai, with All Blacks lock Patrick Tuipulotu named on the reserves bench.

Prop Tony Woodcock was ruled out with concussion.

The Blues are winless this season.
