The New Zealand golfer Josh Geary has been beaten in a playoff for the New South Wales open at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club near Sydney.
Geary birdied the 18th hole to force a play-off with Victorian Anthony Brown.
The two players played the 18th twice more with Brown winning with a birdie on the second extra hole.
Geary finished second on 14 under par 274 while his overnight co-leader James Nitties finished third.
