NZ dominate rowing awards

New Zealand has dominated the athlete categories of the 2014 World Rowing Awards, winning the male and female crew of the year awards.

Hamish Bond and Eric Murray were predictable winners of the award for the third time after winning their fifth consecutive title in the men's pair and the coxed pair for the first time.

The female award went to Emma Twigg who broke through for her first World Championship title in the single sculls.
