The Black Caps are looking for improvement from their batsmen in today's third and final one-day cricket international against South Africa in Hamilton.

After two heavy defeats in which none of the top order scored above 30, the off-spinner Nathan McCullum says New Zealand's batsmen need to fire.
After two record partnerships for the 10th wicket in the first two matches, McCullum says the rest of the New Zealand team needs to take responsibility for scoring runs.
The off spinner says the Black Caps' bowling unit, on the other hand, is playing well, particularly at the end of South Africa's innings in the second game when New Zealand took several quick wickets to prevent the Proteas scoring 300.
He says having the vastly experienced Daniel Vettori back in the side is a huge benefit to everyone in the team, even though the selection of the former skipper means less game time for McCullum.
Both men are competing for the spinner's job in the Black Caps line up, but McCullum says with so much cricket scheduled over the next few months the players will be regularly rotated with the pair possibly even called upon to bowl in tandem.
