The Victorian yacht XLR8 is leading the Melbourne to Hobart east coast yacht race.
Skippered by Ray Shaw, XLR8, a Reichel-Pugh 46, was being challenged by Ocean Skins and Dream on Tuesday morning about 100 nautical miles into the 460 mile journey.
