The New Zealand hockey players Simon Child and Gemma Flynn have been named in the International Hockey Federations All Star teams for 2009.
Child helped the Black Stick men win this week's Champions Challenge tournament and also helped them qualify for the World Cup. He also led the New Zealand to fourth place at this year's Junior World Cup.
Flynn was a prominent member of the Black Sticks women side that beat Australia this year and qualified for both the World Cup and Champions Trophy.
