The North Shore swimmer Melissa Ingram has continued her record breaking blitz on the second day of the Queensland State Championships in Brisbane.
Ingram broke the New Zealand record twice yesterday in the 400m freestyle.... taking half a second off Helen Norfolk's mark in the heats and then took almost another 2 seconds of that in finishing second in the final.
Ingram took time out from the sport this year after missing out on the World Championships.
On Sunday Ingram broke the national record in the 200m freestyle and went under the times for the Delhi Commonwealth Games in that and the 100 backstroke.
