The Wellington Phoneix are hoping to keep themselves out of trouble for the remainder of the A-League football season after being cited for three incidents in the past two weeks.
The club has just accepted Ben Sigmund's three-match suspension for punching a Melbourne Victory player during their 1-all home draw on Friday.
This follows two incidents from the week before, where Manny Muscat received the same penalty for elbowing an opposing player and the side was charged with a team misconduct offence.
The Wellington Phoenix CEO Tony Pignata says the club wants to put those incidents behind them.
