The world champion All Blacks have been snubbed in the latest marketing video for next year's World Cup in England.

The advert released by the International Rugby Board's tournament organising company, Rugby World Cup 2015, is ironically called "Too Big to Miss".

In it English actor Charles Dance, from the television programme Game Of Thrones, delivers a team talk to players, officials and supporters from the major playing nations and several minor ones, but New Zealand is conspicuous by its absence.

The advertisement comes ahead of the next round of ticket sales for the tournament which go on sale to the general public later this month.

The All Blacks assistant coach Ian Foster says he hasn't seen the ad but "I'm pretty sure we've qualified for the World so we're going to be there."

The New Zealand rugby union says it was unaware of the video being released but is unconcerned at the All Blacks omission.
