There's a fair chance the second New Zealand-Pakistan cricket test at the Basin Reserve could start on time at midday.
After a wet first three days this week, it's still heavily overcast but there's a drying southerly wind, and remaining scattered rain is expected to clear this morning - to be followed by five fine days.
