O'Brien injury decision unlikely overnight

The New Zealand cricketers are unlikely to know until tomorrow whether the pace bowler Iain O'Brien will be fit for the second test in Wellingtion.

O'Brien dislocated a finger during the first test win of Pakistan and the injury's being assessed tonight, although he's said he's confident he'll be able to play at the Basin Reserve.

All-rounder Grant Elliott isn't sure if he'll be able to bowl there though as he has a nagging knee injury.

Meanwhile, it looks as if both teams will have to practice indoors again as more rain'\s forecast.
