No wind in Rio

Not a good sign for sailing at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in two years.

Exactly two years from the Games opening ceremony a lack of wind has prevented any sailing in the Olympic Test regatta off Rio.

Some 324 sailors from 34 countries are taking part in 10 Olympic classes, but a lack of wind kept everyone on shore.

Despite a lack of competition on race day two New Zealand 49er sailor Blair Tuke is happy with the time put into learning the Rio race course.

He says they've been there a couple of weeks and there are a lot of challenges with the current and different wind conditions but they're really enjoying their time there.

New Zealand have 12 crews taking part.
