The Hamilton golfer Steven Alker has a two shot lead at the Boise Open heading into the final day of the event on the second tier golf tour in the United States.
The 42-year-old bounced back from an opening bogey to shoot a six-under par third round 65.
Alker's 54 hole 20-under par 193 total, broke the tournament record by two strokes and put the New Zealander in position for his second win this season after claiming the Cleveland Open in an 11 hole playoff.
He's currently 19th on the Web.Com Tour Money List and needs to finish inside the top 25 to automatically qualify for the PGA Tour in 2014 - 2015.
