The Australia fast bowler Brett Lee is to take a break from the sport to rest a persistent elbow injury before deciding on his cricketing future.
The 33-year-old has suffered with injuries all year and missed the tour of South Africa as well as the Ashes against England this summer.
The elbow injury flared up again this weekend and he is facing 12 weeks out.
Lee says he needs to get away from the game, get this elbow right and then he'll make a call on his future.
The 33-year-old says he's missed so much cricket already that he feels his body could go for a while yet.
Lee, who returned home from India in October after the elbow injury forced him out of the one-day series, is now likely to miss the matches against West Indies and Pakistan in December and January.
