England netball international Serena Guthrie is heading to Auckland to line up for the Northern Mystics next year.
The 24-year-old plays wing defence or centre and will bolster the Mystics' midcourt, which already includes two Silver Ferns, recent signing Camilla Lees and the recently re-signed Laura Langman.
Guthrie fills the Mystics' import spot, vacated by Julie Corletto, who's playing for the New South Wales Swifts.
Since she was 16, Guthrie has been playing for Team Bath, who have dominated the English Superleague, winning five of nine campaigns.
