Captain Cook resolute

Alastair Cook says the England cricket captaincy isn't to blame for his poor run of form with the bat and he will lead from the front in the five-match Test series against India in Nottingham.

Captain Cook scored his last Test century 24 innings ago, against New Zealand at Headingley in May last year, and he mustered just 78 runs in four innings against Sri Lanka last month.

England haven't been able to win any of their last eight Test matches, and they've lost series to Australia and Sri Lanka.

India have only three players in their squad of 18 who have played a Test in England, and they're looking to win their first Test overseas since 2011.
