Brazil learn to live without Neymar

5:30 am on 7 July 2014

The host country and favourites Brazil are learning to live without their star striker Neymar for the rest of the World Cup as they prepare for their semi-final against Germany on Wedesday morning.

Their leading goal scorer, Neymar fractured a vertebrae late in their quarter-final against Colombia and his tournament is over.

But for the host country, there's no alternative but to get to the final in Rio de Janeiro on July 13th.

Meanwhile Germany are convinced they finally have a team that can deliver the killer punch, after making the semi-finals of their last five major tournaments, World Cups and European championships.
