The former Wellington fullback Jason Woodward has confirmed he's returning to the Lions for the 2014 domestic rugby season.
The Wellington-born 24-year-old, who's currently playing for the Melbourne Rebels, recently signed with the Hurricanes Super Rugby franchise for two years.
An Upper Hutt local, Woodward played his first provincial season with the Lions in 2011, before taking up a Super Rugby contract with the Rebels in 2013.
During his previous seasons with the Lions, Woodward played 18 matches and scored 145 points.
