Daniel Carter will be available for next weeks rugby international against England after receiving a one match ban for a high tackle during last weekend's test against Wales in Cardiff.

Carter had been cited for a dangerous tackle on Wales replacement halfback Martin Roberts and the suspension was handed down by the IRB-appointed judicial officer Jeff Blackett during a hearing at London's Heathrow airport.

Carter would most likely have been rested for this weekend's test against Italy in Milan's San Siro football stadium which will be an 80,000 sell-out on Saturday night.
