Low key return for Jock Paget

It's been a low key return to competition for the New Zealand equestrian champion Jock Paget.

Competing at the Salperton trials in England over the weekend, while waiting on the final FEI ruling on his positive drug test following last year's Burghley three day event, Paget and Clifton Promise finished 27th after a quiet cross country which incurred 42 time faults.

Amongst the other New Zealanders, Andrew Nicholson notched up three wins in lower divisions.

Sir Mark Todd and his World Games contender Leonidas finished 12th in their section.

The New Zealand eventing team for the World Equestrian Games is due to be named in the second week of July.
