NSW playing down Queensland injuries

5:58 pm on 18 June 2014

New South Wales are doing their best to play down Queensland's injury concerns but the Blues go into tonight's second match in rugby league's State of Origin with their best chance ever of ending the Maroons' winning run.

Queensland have won the past eight series, but New South Wales are currently one nil up and play what could be the series decider in Sydney tonight.

Laurie Daley's side now finds itself in the unfamiliar role of favourites and unlike Queensland have had an injury free buildup to the match.

Queensland are waiting until just before kick off to decide where the injured pair halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and centre Greg Inglis play.
