World cycling's governing body has been criticised for allowing Britain's Tour de France winner Chris Froome to use a steroid-based drug during the Tour of Romandie.
According to a French Sunday newspaper, Froome, who went on to win the race in Switzerland last April, was suffering from a chill and was given permission to use the steroid to treat the illness under the Therapeutic Use Exemption rule.
The World Anti-Doping Agency is apparently studying the case.
