The Springbok halfback Fourie du Preez has been named the South African rugby player of the year.
Du Preez starred in the Boks Tri-Nations success this year and also played a dominant role in their series win over the British and Irish Lions and helped the Bulls win the Super 14.
Springbok mentor Peter de Villiers was named coach of the year... superboot Morne Steyn was named the Test Player, Super 14 Player and Players' Player of the Year... the Springboks were named Team of the Year.
