The New Zealand driver Hayden Paddon sits 11th overall after the opening day of the World Rally Championship's Rally of Italy.
The Hyundai driver's just over five minutes back from leader Jari-Matti Latvala of Finland.
Paddon secured one 10th place across the day's nine stages, along with 11th, 12th and 13th placings.
