Dutch beat Black Sticks women

The New Zealand women's hockey team has been beaten 2-0 by the Netherlands to dent their chances of making the World Cup play-offs in The Hague.

The world number one Dutch scored both goals in the first half.

The hosts dominated the match with the Black Sticks only having two shots on goal and failing to gain a penalty corner.

With two losses the Black Sticks now need to have two big wins in their remaining matches against Japan and Australia and hope other results go their way if they're to make the semi-finals.
