The Warriors remain within a win of the National Rugby League's top eight, after celebrating captain Simon Mannering's 200th NRL match and 100th as skipper with a 38-18 win over the Knights at Mt Smart Stadium.

Mannering scored two tries and coach Andrew McFadden was quick to praise the talismanic leader for not allowing the team to be over-awed by the occasion.

Meanwhile the Broncos have climbed to fifth on the ladder following their 36-10 win over Manly in Brisbane.
