The New Zealand rugby union says comments by a former Samoa international that the All Blacks would have toured Nazi Germany if the price was right are offensive and ridiculous.
The outspoken former Samoa centre Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu made the comments in a YouTube video, criticising New Zealand Rugby for not playing a test in Samoa, Fiji or Tonga.
Fuimaono-Sapolu says Polynesian players have had a big influence on the success of New Zealand rugby but rugby bosses are only interested in money.
Fuimaono-Sapolu last played for Samoa at the 2011 Rugby World Cup and is currently playing in Japan for the Coca Cola Red Sparks.
The IRB brought a misconduct charge against Fuimaono-Sapolu when he called referee Nigel Owens a "racist, biased prick" following Samoa's 13-5 loss to South Africa at the world cup.
He was also warned recently for a Twitter post linking the Rugby World Cup scheduling to slavery, the holocaust and apartheid.
A New Zealand Rugby spokesperson says they have no other comment to make on the matter.
